Rose water is a hydrosol distillate. Rose water is made out of rose petals or the rose flower. 

The primary INCI name for roses is known as rosa damascena, although there are other species of roses. The use of Rose water has been around for centuries. The Ancient Egyptians used roses for calming baths, skin care preparations and in early perfumery.
